Thorganby Anaerobic Digestion Plant

This project involved the construction of a new 0.5mw Anaerobic Digestion plant which included a 4,000 tonne capacity clamp area, extensive bund walling as well as all civils and building works. These included the drainage, ducting and installation of a new 30,000lt underground storage tank. Reinforced concrete works, surfacing, landscaping, bund lining and enabling works for other contractors also formed part of the project.

The site was particularly tight and space was at a premium throughout the project. The ground conditions were poor and there was a high water table however these issues were overcome by good planning, daily liaison with all parties involved.
